Do you know how those beautiful Quilts you see hanging around our Church really bless our sick and elderly members?
Here are a few letters from some who have received them:
I would like to thank all of my wonderful friends at Oakhurst United Methodist Church for the lovely quilt you made for me! Every time I look at it I thank God for all of you and the prayers you have been saying for me. May God Bless each and everyone of you as you have blessed me.
Dear Friends at Oakhurst United Methodist Church, I can not thank you enough for the beautiful quilt you have given me. I know that many hours of work went into making this and I will cherish it forever. Thank you and God bless each of you.
My Dear friends, how can I thank you enough for the lovely quilt Julie gave to me from all of you? To know that so many of you at Oakhurst United Methodist Church are praying for me blesses me so very much. I am unable to get to church but having this quilt reminds me how blessed I am to be a part of such a loving and caring church. May God bless each and everyone of you for sharing His love through this wonderful Ministry. Once again, thank you.
Please when the opportunity comes each month take the time to tie a knot, sign the sheet and say a prayer for the person receiving it. You do not have to know the person, remember we are all brothers and sisters in Christ and we need to be praying for each other at all times. I can't tell you how it blesses me to deliver these wonderful quilts and see the smiles and tears of joy that they bring. Some of these friends have no family or family members are far away, to know that they have a church family that cares for them means so very much.
We are also in great need of help in making these beautiful quilts. If you are interested or called in any way to be a part of this awesome ministry please give me a call or drop me a note in the office. You can also email me at

. You do not have to sew (although if you can that would be great too). We have many other things that need your help in putting these quilts together. Please pray about this ministry.
