What gift would you like to receive this Mother’s Day?  Does it include peace at home, in the neighborhood and in the world?  Joy Circle will help us explore peace, and how the gift of the Holy Spirit empowers women to be peacemakers.  Everyone is welcome.  Agape Circle will host with refreshments.

2012 Ditty Bag Project

Do you iron, cut, sew, or string?  You can help us make over 60 ditty bags in one day.  Date will be announced.  For more info, call Joyce Walker, 581-6760.

The goal of UMW and U.M. Cooperative Ministries in the district is to make and fill over 4000 ditty bags by October.  Men and women living on the streets or in temporary shelters, and girls and boys of farm workers living in poverty, will experience the peace of Christ when they open these bags of love.  In September, we will invite church members to fill one or more ditty bags with items listed on www.umcm.info.
