The Ignited Evangelism ministry at Oakhurst is to assist in helping to gather believers and non-believers into our midst so they can be nurtured and deployed for meaningful service to Jesus Christ. The ministry takes its direction from the Holy Spirit. As a ministry we are responsible for the following: Coordinating the new member and visitor recognition programs. Ensuring the narthex Welcome Wagon is stocked with information on Oakhurst's ministries and programs. Placing advertising or articles in The Beacon and arrange other publicity when required. Coordinating greeters for traditional worship services. Coordinate the 4X4 small group fellowship ministry. Prepare the sanctuary for periodic prayer vigils.
