Oakhurst’s Youth Group, High Spirit Youth, is a high intensity youth fellowship program designed to provide an environment comfortable enough that our youth can “GET EXCITED” about God in a relevant way.

Activities:

High Spirit Youth is all about having fun with other Christians. Some of the activities we are known to take part in are paintball, surfing, camping, retreats, parties, mission trips, concerts, festivals, skiing, fundraisers...

Weekly and Monthly Activities:

Street Ministries: 2nd Tuesday of every month, 6pm-9:30pm

We take a group of youth to St. Vincent’s in St. Pete to feed the Homeless.

Activity Night: Wednesday 7pm-8:30pm

This is a time to let loose and have some fun with organized games.

Project Faith: Thursday 7pm-8pm

This is a great time for youth to learn more about themselves and their relationship with God in a relaxed environment.

High Spirit Band: Sunday 4pm-5:30pm

If you like to sing, play an instrument, or be a sound tech, this is a great outlet for you. The band practices every Sunday in preparation to perform on Sunday mornings and other outreach programs.

High Spirit Youth: Sundays 5:30pm-8pm

This is the main event! Filled with group games and activities, awesome praise & worship, dramas, small groups, and a weekly message, this program is guaranteed to pack a fun filled punch right to your soul. It is a great jumpstart to encourage teens to face their daily challenges at school with an open heart and an open mind, spreading the good news of our risen lord Jesus Christ.
