God's Word Does Not Return Void

We receive many testimonies from around the world about how the lives of individuals and families have been changed by the simple gift of a new Testament.

Here is a testimony:
One morning a student at a school in Kenya threatened his head teacher. Fearful, this teacher sent for the police. Gideons had scheduled a Scripture distribution at this school that same day, and they arrived before the police. The boy who made the threat listened to the Gideons read the Bible. After the plan of salvation was presented, he came forward, confessed his sins, and accepted Jesus as his Savior.
This student went immediately to the head teacher, asked forgiveness and stated that he was a new person in Christ. The head teacher decided not to press charges-waiting several days to see if the boy truly had been transformed. The student's new life in Christ was so evident that charges were never filed. the power of God's Word accomplished what God intended for this boy.

How Can You Help

The Gideons International serves as a missionary arm of the church- every Scripture we distribute is provided  through the support of local churches and individual Christians. you can help by keeping The Gideons on your daily prayer list. We also hope you will partner with us by providing funds for Scriptures. Gideons are distributing more than two copies of God's Word every second. Together, we have the ability to truly reach the world.

There are two ways you can provide Scriptures: through Gideon Expressions cards and your direct donations.
