The Living Water Walk 2020

The Living Water Walk is a 2 mile walk to raise funds for our 5 year service as full-time missionaries in Sierra Leone.  The walk is on March 7, 2020 at 9:00 am at Boca Ciega Millenium Park in Seminole, Florida.
 
SIERRA LEONE MISSION

Our Missionaries, Nick and Heidi Griffiths will be starting a 5 year mission in Sherbro Island, Sierra Leone in January 2021.  Please Click here for more information on this exciting Mainland and Outreach Ministry.

 
 
Kenya Mission

   With God’s leading, Deb Ralph has partnered with the Bishop in Meru County, Kenya to open a boarding school and home for disabled children. The church there has received a two acre parcel of land which they have been able to survey and take ownership of with Oakhurst UMC support. One acre has been allocated for the school and some existing buildings are being turned into dormitories for the children. God put this calling in Deb’s heart more than 2 years ago and she is  excited to work with the Bishop and MCK on this wonderful mission. Our current Pennies For Kenya campaign supports this endeavor. 

Join us in our Oakhurst UMC Street Ministry.  We have cooking teams and serving teams to provide meals to the homeless 3-4 times a month.

Food Collection for the Aldersgate Food Pantry

In times of economic need many families go hungry. You can help make a difference by contributing to the food pantry. Donation boxes are located in the Narthex and adjacent to Fellowship Hall. Feel free to drop donations by the church on Sundays or during regular church office hours. BOGO deals are a great way to contribute the pantry without breaking the grocery budget!
